Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce company, is launching a global AI startup. The startup, which is still in the early stages of development, will focus on developing artificial intelligence products and services for businesses and consumers.

Bansal said that he is excited about the potential of AI to transform the way we live and work. He said that the startup will focus on developing AI solutions that are “easy to use, affordable, and accessible to everyone.”

The startup will have its primary operating center in Bengaluru, India, and its headquarters in Singapore. Bansal said that the company will hire a team of top AI engineers and scientists from around the world.

Bansal’s Background

Bansal co-founded Flipkart in 2007 with Sachin Bansal. The company grew to become India’s largest e-commerce company, with a valuation of over $37 billion. Bansal stepped down as CEO of Flipkart in 2018, but he remains a board member.

Bansal is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and the Indian School of Business. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders program.
